IT Intern

The Information Technology Department at Canada Wide Media seeks a dynamic individual to be our general purpose intern. This is a minimum six week, unpaid, full time position, Monday to Friday at our offices in Burnaby.

Fast track your IT career with real world experience in a fun and fast paced environment. You will be exposed to a variety of tasks and technologies including:

• Networking
• Occasional hardware repair
• Server technology both Windows and Mac Server
• Troubleshooting both Windows and Mac
• Software installation and configuration both Windows and Mac

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to climb under a desk at a moments notice to fix minor issues
• Quickly respond to clients request using our Help Desk system.
• Calm and friendly approach in a team environment
• The ability to affectively research technical issues and provide solutions
• PC experience. Mac experience a bonus.
• Microsoft Office
