Digital Media Editorial Intern

Interested in publishing on the web? Our Digital Media division is now accepting applications for editorial internships.

We offer 12-week, full-time editorial internships that give you the chance to contribute writing, editing, and multi-media items to our network of websites (including BCBusinessOnline.ca, GranvilleOnline.ca, GardenWiseOnline.ca, Youthink.ca and TVWeekOnline.ca.)

Our internship program provides an excellent window into the business of digital publishing, while providing you with valuable hands-on experience, great contacts, and opportunities for getting your work published online.

We adapt our program to an applicant’s strengths, and may be able to accommodate part-time interns.

Responsibilities include:

• audio and video production and editing
• digital production work with content management systems
• writing and editing
• interviewing
• attending content planning sessions
• research and fact-checking
• proofreading

Upon completion of the program, interns will have an excellent sense of digital media publishing and magazine publishing in general, and may – if they take advantage of the opportunity – come away with published articles or multimedia items.
