Top 100 Companies in B.C.
Who Is Eligible
Any company headquartered in British Columbia, including public and private companies, Crown corporations and registered charities.
Top 100 Criteria
Public, private and Crown corporations are ranked by revenue, except financial institutions, which are ranked by net interest income plus other revenue. Charities are ranked based on total tax-receipted donations (Form T3010, line 4500).
Companies are invited to nominate themselves by providing financial information for their previous fiscal year through the Top 100 Companies in B.C. online entry form. The information remains confidential and will be subject to confirmation by BCBusiness researchers. BCBusiness will also conduct independent research to seek out information for eligible companies that do not submit data online.
We rank companies according to results from their most recent fiscal year (typically ended within the previous calendar year). We start gathering data in March, when most public companies begin filing annual financial results. You must submit data by late April to be considered for this year’s Top 100 list.
